Sloane Stephens Debuts as Tennis Channel Personality at The Taste of BNP Paribas Open

INDIAN WELLS, Calif -- Sloane Stephens, who is recovering from a foot injury that has kept her away from the tour, joins Tennis Channel as an off-court lifestyle personality. The young star will bring her singular style and energy to behind-the-scenes features during the network’s coverage in Southern California and Miami events, where she has reached the singles quarterfinals. Stephens will also be part of Tennis Channel’s telecast at April’s Charleston tournament, where she's the reigning singles champion.

On Tuesday Stephens joined critically acclaimed world-class chefs Wolfgang Puck (Spago), Nobu Matsuhisa (Nobu), Josiah Citrin (Dave’s Doghouse), Ray Garcia (B.S. Taqueria) and Christian Page (Cassell’s Hamburgers) as they showcased their top-notch restaurants and concessions at the Indian Wells Tennis Garden.

Media outlets attended the event for food tasting and chef interview opportunities, while Stephens had an exclusive lesson and interviews with Wetzel’s Pretzels, Nobu Matsuhisa, and Wolfgang Puck.
