High school reunions often give out an award to the person who’s travelled the furthest distance. If you applied that concept to the ATP World Tour, surely Christopher Eubanks would be worth of significant recognition. As year ago, this man from Atlanta was ranked 964 in the world – and also beginning his junior year playing for Georgia Tech.
Since then, he’s risen more than 600 spots and earned a wild card into the US Open. Though Eubanks lost in the first round to Dudi Sela, his progress this year has been remarkable. Eubanks last week took time to talk about his journey with James Blake.
