Former No. 1 and 2003 U.S. Open champion Andy Roddick called into Court Report to talk about Roger Federer's dominance in the first quarter of the season, and Rafael Nadal's unbeatable record on clay this season. Roddick thinks Nadal is the clear favorite to win Roland Garros, which will be his 10th.
Federer, who sat out the last half of the season due to knee issues, has had a stellar 2017 with wins at the Australian Open, Indian Wells, and Miami. The Swiss star announced today he's skipping Roland Garros to prepare for the grass and hard court seasons.
Nadal, who withdrew from the 2016 Roland Garros with wrist injury, in also enjoying his 2017 season. He was runner up at the Australian Open, Acapulco, Miami, and has won three straight titles in Monte Carlo, Barcelona, and Madrid.
