In this latest social update, My Tennis Life star Nicole Gibbs gave us more on her current injuries and her decision to take time off to rehab. Here are key points that led to that decision:
-- She had been carrying injuries, specifically her knee.
-- She played Auckland aware of her injuries.
-- Right after Miami, she was not hitting the ball well, and started to feel pain in her wrist.
--She and her team sat down to discuss her options, which were to either play injured to try and get into Roland Garros main draw or take some time away to heal.
In her latest My Tennis Life blog, Gibbs mentioned her recovery has been a speedy one, and was planning to depart for Europe on Tuesday to play a tournament in Nice.
