This episode of My Tennis Life features Sam Groth's March vlog review. March was a very busy month for Sam as he found himself traveling around world, literally, in search of ranking points and prize money.
His March social updates began with a tour of Carytown, his favorite hangout in Richmond, Virginia. That very week he made a decision not to go to Acapulco so he could rehab his groin injury.
He and his coach Joe headed to the BNP Paribas Open in Indian Wells, making a pitstop in Los Angeles. We then watched him get his exercise on at the BNP Paribas Open.
On his way to a Tennis Channel shoot, he announced that he had made the qualifying draw. We saw him head to his first round qualifying match. Despite a tough loss, he gave us a post-match report and his upcoming travel plans.
We found out coach Joe was now out of the picture as Sam decided to part ways with him before heading to a challenger tournament in Drummondville, Canada, where we watched him get caught in a snow storm. Ouch!!!
After braving the snow storm and winning a doubles title in Drummondville, he moved back to Melbourne, Australia to settle in his new house he and his girlfriend Britt purchased. He also began prepping for the upcoming US-Australia Davis Cup tie.
