June saw Nicole Gibbs head to Croatia to play a tournament in Boi. When she got back home to Los Angeles, she made an announcement she was going to miss the grass court season due to physical challenges. Next up for Nicole was Baton Rouge, Louisiana, which saw her win her first ITF title in three years. In July, she checked in from Winnipeg, Canada, and then returned home to put in some training before heading to her old stomping ground at Stanford.
