Steve Badeau is Tennis Channel’s senior vice president of research. Joining the network in 2010, Badeau has over 30 years’ experience in television, including various broadcast networks and studios such as NBC, ABC, Paramount Pictures, DreamWorks Studios and FX Networks.
Based in Los Angeles, Badeau oversees Tennis Channel’s research department. In this capacity, he oversees all research function as well as their practical application across departments. He is also directly responsible for continuing to develop the research capabilities of the network, developing solutions and interpreting data to better serve the current and future needs of Tennis Channel.
Prior to Tennis Channel, Badeau served in various research capacities as well as in television syndication distribution and program development. He has been quoted as an analytic source in media outlets such as USA Today, Broadcasting & Cable, and Variety, amongst others. Throughout his career, Badeau has worked with many industry titans, including Steven Spielberg and Jeffery Katzenberg. He has also had the privilege of working on such shows as Cheers, Star Trek: The Next Generation, Entertainment Tonight, Spin City, Freaks and Geeks, and many more.
Badeau graduated from the University of Minnesota with a degree in public address.
