Hey...would it be too much to ask that you two PM each other with your arguments and slams rather than post it out here? It would be appreciated and would show some tennis maturity.

  • Re: grand slams schedules and fans recognition

They think they are doing it for the fans is the bad part. They want the prime time players to be on TV in prime time, so the schedules are made around the TV slots...aka they'll show a tape of Venus instead of showing a live men's match of someone who is not as well known, which is just ridiculous. There is no doubt that the Aussie Open did Hewitt

  • Re: "Roger Federer never close to Sampras"

One thing about it is that Federer (until this Aussie Open) dispatches whoever is on the court across from him and makes it look easy, Sampras seemed to be able to dig in and win no matter what was happening, down 2 sets, throwing up, cramping...maybe not quite as many skills or tools, but twice the heart. I was fortunate enough to go to the US Open

They say he's the nicest guy on the tour, but man his grille looks like he should def. be in a werewolf or creature feature.

  • Re: Best Male Player to NEVER Win a Open?

How about Thomas Enqvist? Throughout his career, Enqvist finished a year ranked in the top 10 four times and won at least one ATP title for six consecutive years. Enqvist won a total of 19 singles titles, the biggest being ATP Masters Series titles at Paris (1996), Stuttgart (1999) and Cincinnati (2000). He also won one doubles title. His best showing

  • Re: TC Production: Why so LITTLE NCAA tennis coverage?

Heck...I'd love to see some NCAA...half the men out there are former pros now, heck Ole Miss's mens team is like watching the pros play...let's skip Murphy in Vegas and show a UNLV match?

If they ever perform a colonoscopy on Andy Roddick, I won't be surprised to see P Mac lodged somewhere in there. Its true...Andy yelled at the Aussie open and the camera was close enough to his mouth

  • Re: Patrick McEnroe

Well...at least Patrick and Mary can swap clothes since she dresses more manly than the men in the booth...WTH is wrong with her??...her calling Venus and Serena "true champion" endlessly in each broadcast and making excuses for them when they are just "not on their A game today" is the most annoying thing I have ever heard.

  • Re: Tennis matches on TV

Guess they think we'd want to see the same match 30 times in one week? The only reason I get the tennis channel is for live tennis, classics, and Davis Cup...Aussie coverage was great, but would be nice if they'd stick some tennis in gaps rather than repeats of the same shows over and over and over.......
