I just finished watching the replay of the Rafa/Verdasco match.... I found myself turning the sound off several times during the match...... she just talks too much. Either someone should coach her that these are not 'tests of her knowledge' and there is no need to defend every comment she makes, or The Tennis Channel will lose some of the gains they made in audience by investing in transmitting all these great matches...... Can someone call Melbourne and tell her? She can still be saved and would be a win-win.!!!
Martina did a great job. Her comments were right on. She expressed the same feelings I had while watching the match. Keep up the good work. Go Martina!!!
Couldn't agree more. I was a huge Martina fan -- both as a player and commentator, until this tournament and largely, this match. If she said 80% less it would have been about right. This endless tennis psychobabble has to stop.
